The Mighty Marvelous Men of Advent (MMMOA) is an engaging group of parishioners who show their spirit in volunteer work, outreach, and spiritual growth efforts while enjoying the fellowship of their Christian brothers.
Our main ministry is the preparation of breakfast each Sunday. Thanks to the folks at Register's Meats for donating all the breakfast sausage and bacon we can cook!!! You will want to check with your local grocer for availability once you've tried it.
Except in June, July, and August when we take a break, we work in teams arriving between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. to have food ready by the time the 8:00 a.m. service is concluded. We start cleaning up by 10:00 a.m. to give the team time to attend the 10:30 a.m. service.
There are four teams, one for each Sunday of the month. Fifth Sundays are covered by one of these teams on rotation. Fish Frys, U-2Charists, Workdays, etc. are covered by anyone available (the more the merrier). Current teams are listed below.
